WrensReads Review:
Alright. This book was huge. I’m happy I did the audio book so I still had time to read other things.
The “A Song of Ice and Fire” series is just a really good series. It is so thought out and doesn’t care about if the person is good or bad or has horrible or glorious intentions.
There is no one that you don’t understand their intentions. Even the worst person (Cersei) is relatable because what she does is for her family and you see that. Or Tyrion getting picked on for how he looks even though he may be the most intelligent person written.
Anyone and Everyone you love will die and does die. The most beloved family, the Starks, are also the most tragic one. We have followed them from the first chapter and believe me when I say they will break your heart in more than one way.
We get a new point of view, Jaime, which is wonderful because he has been the pit of a villain the last few books and you get to read into his intentions and why he was shaped to be so deadly and what it will take to bring him down.
If you are reading this review you have already read the last two books and I can’t see someone not finishing this series so just read the book man. It’s huge and intimidating but worth it.
